وبشروحات الفاينال اعتمدت على شرح الاخ الرمادي الله يسعده لانها كانت اشمل وشرح اشياء ماكانت موجودة عند ممدوح

Question 2 (30 marks)

This question is based on Unit 2. It tests the student ability to refine and code a given design and to make changes to the design. Your program will have to write data to the screen and read from the keyboard.

If you ask someone to give you a number between 1 and 9 inclusive he might prefer either odd or even numbers. An MT262 student decides to investigate the most common answer given by interviewees. He writes a C++ program and tried to question people. For each person interviewed the program requires the entry of data in response to the following screen prompt:

Give a number between 1 and 9.

The program records the number of interviewees who choose odd numbers and counts the number of responses that provided 6 as an answer.

After 20 persons have been interviewed, the totals are written out to the screen as illustrated by the following typical output:

Of 20 interviewees:
6 gave odd numbers.
14 gave even numbers, 5 of them gave the number 6 as answer.

Your task in this question is to produce a program to record the number of interviews who choose even numbers or odd numbers which is to be based on the following top-level design:

1 initialize variables
2 loop while there are more interviewees
3 process next interviewee’s response
4 loop end
5 write out results

• Refine this design to a final design ready for coding into C++. You should assume that the data is entered correctly, so your design should not include any data validation. Submit your final design, which should include a data table, to your tutor. [15 marks]

• Implement your design in part (a) as a C++ program. Compile, run and test your program. As your answer to this part, you should submit the following to your tutor:

i. A program listing, that is a copy of the contents of the main code file, which in this case is TMA1Q2U.cpp. Copy it to the word doc.
ii. Output from one run of the program. Copy it to the word doc.

If you fail to achieve a working program, you should still submit your program listing because marks will be awarded for aspects of the coding of your design. [15 marks]


Question 3 (20 marks)

This question is based on Unit 4. It tests your ability to find and correct simple mistakes in code and to explain design features through comments in the code.

An MT262 student was asked to write a C++ program whose purpose was as follows. The user has to enter a positive integer and the program writes out all the squares which do not exceed that number. For example, if the user enters 65 then the output from the program should be:

Question 4 (20 marks)

This question is based on Unit 3. It tests your ability to write a class.
In this question, you are not expected submit a Builder C++ program using your computer. You should provide your answers listing in a word document file. You can, of course, implement your answer and test them if you wish, but you should not submit any evidence for testing.
A company wishes to modernize the software for keeping records of the item stocked by using a class. To this end, your help is needed to create a suitable class ItemType. It is decided tht four items of data should be held by an object of this type, namely:
- name
- description
- cost
- number of what type of item in stock

These four items should be implemented as the data members of the class.

The company identifies the following methods for inclusion in the class:
- A method to initialize an ItemType object. Values for the name and the description data members will need to be supplied as parameters. The cost and number-in-stock data members should be set to 0.
- *** setter methods, one each for the cost and number-in-stock data members, assigning values supplied as parameters. For example, a method SetCost will take a real number as parameter and assign this value to the cost data member.
- Four getter methods returning the values of data members. For example, a method GetName will return the value of the name data member.
- A method for sales. When the quantity (one or more) of some items is sold the method should update the number-in-stock level accordingly.
- A method for purchases. When the company buys a quantity of some item the number-in-stock level must be adjusted accordingly.

• Write a declaration for the class ItemType. This involves specifying the data members and giving prototypes for the methods. For example, the method SetCost might have prototype:
